Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign my child for more than one class?

Yes! If your child is aged 8-11, they can take both theatre and musical theatre. Our theatre and musical theatre classes teach different skills, and work on different types of performance, so your child can enjoy both classes weekly!

My child already takes dance and/or music lessons. Should they take your classes as well?

In our musical theatre program, we learn how to integrate music and dance with acting to tell stories. Prior dance or music experience is an asset but not required!

Our theatre program offers something totally different with a focus on acting only. This would be a great addition to music and dance training.

My child has been/is involved in community theatre productions. Should they take your classes as well?

Absolutely! We learn skills and techniques that will help your child thrive in community productions and at auditions. In our classes, we work on a variety of scenes rather than learning one specific show, so it will be a different experience for your child! Every child aged 8 & up gets a solo in class.

Do I have to sign my child up for the whole year?

At this time, we only offer a school-year long session, much like a dance studio. This is so your child has time to learn, practice, and improve their skills each week. We want our students to grow over the course of the program and find this is best done in a year-long program!

Do you offer financial assistance?

Financial assistance is available through the Free to Grow Program through the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington. For more information please visit their website
